Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of My Post Scout (“the service”), available at mypostscout.com. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

My Post Scout helps you plan and write social media content using AI, find current trends in your niche, and publish posts to accounts you connect. Features and limits depend on your plan and may change over time.

Your account

• You must be at least 16 and able to enter a binding agreement.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
• Give us accurate information and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

AI-generated content

Content is produced by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your purposes. You are responsible for reviewing, editing and approving everything before you publish it, including checking facts, claims, and compliance with advertising and platform rules. We do not guarantee any particular results, such as reach, engagement or sales.

Your content and our licence to it

You keep ownership of the brand information and content you provide, and of the posts you create with the service. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only as needed to operate the service for you (including sending it to our AI and search providers). You confirm you have the right to use what you submit.

Connected social accounts

If you connect LinkedIn, Facebook or Instagram, you authorise us to publish content to that account when you instruct us to. You are responsible for what is published and for following each platform’s own terms. Those platforms may limit, change or withdraw access at any time, and we are not responsible for that.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

• break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
• create or spread spam, scams, hateful, harassing, deceptive or misleading content;
• attempt to disrupt, probe or gain unauthorised access to the service or other users’ data;
• resell or share your account, or use automated means to overload the service.

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

Plans, billing and cancellation

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis through Stripe until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time from Settings → Manage billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Except where the law requires otherwise, payments already made are non-refundable.
• We may change prices or plan limits with reasonable notice; changes apply from your next billing period.

Availability

We work to keep the service running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may modify or discontinue features, and we may carry out maintenance from time to time.

Disclaimers and limits of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, data or goodwill, or for content you publish. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Ending your use

You can stop using the service and delete your brands at any time, and ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@mypostscout.com. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or misuse the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
